What's His Name?

Even though it reminds me of that SNL skit where the guy stared at himself in the mirror and said, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me," it's a good read.

What was his name, anyway? The guy who looked in the mirror?

Seems like more peeps feel like my rant, too.

I'm Pure Nerd

So I took the Nerd, Dork or Geek Test and I'm (Misty, obviously) Pure Nerd. Here's my results, as if you're interested:

Pure Nerd

52 % Nerd, 22% Geek, 43% Dork

For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendencies associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!

So when am I likely to be Purely Successful instead of just Pure Nerd?

I'm Never Satisfied

So in browsing other blogs of my peeps, I'm thinking our blog ain't so cute. And here I spent hours playing with it, putting up my background and playing with the banner and colors. And feeling cool 'cause I know a bit about HTML. Now I'm not so sure. I'm looking here and here to maybe find a cooler background.

Hmm...wonder why our cool-o signature isn't showing up below?
